01 / THE SINGULAR NAME
God’s name. A mystery still unfolding.
ELOHAR is the singular name of God within The Superhuman Race universe. It does not name a collective of earthly elites or a class of powerful descendants.
The Asterians answer to ELOHAR. Their assignment, the prohibition they were given, and the punishment of those who broke it form the beginning of this history. Whether ELOHAR is the creator of all existence—and the full nature of that divine authority—remains unresolved.

An assignment. A forbidden love. A banishment.
The Asterians
Angels tasked by ELOHAR to watch over humans. They were forbidden to intermingle with humanity. Asterians still remain in ELOHAR’s service; the banishment did not encompass all of their kind.
Those who fell
Some Asterians fell in love with humans and broke the prohibition. ELOHAR banished them to Earth in mortal human form. Their superhuman abilities remained.
The Ikanunna
An ancient people gave the banished Asterians this name. Ikanunna and fallen angels refer to those same beings, remembered under different names as cultures and history changed.
03 / WHAT SURVIVED
Their lives ended.
Their abilities endured.
The original banished Asterians have died. Mortality was their punishment, but their abilities passed to their offspring with humans and continued through their descendants. Across the ages, their communities divided into factions.
Inherited power
The bloodlines carry superhuman abilities rooted in their Asterian ancestry. Human ancestry is part of the lineage of today’s Church members.
The label: Zotis
The Church applies “Zotis” to forbidden offspring—children of unions between its bloodline members and outside humans with no connection to the Church. It is a judgment imposed by doctrine, despite the Church’s own human ancestry.
04 / THE CHURCH’S INTERPRETATION
In ELOHAR’s name.
The fallen sought redemption. Over generations, the commitment against further intermingling became the foundation of the Church of the Chosen. The institution bound descendants to its beliefs from birth.
The teachings below are Church doctrine. They are not established promises or commands from ELOHAR.
The promised return
The Church teaches that loyalty and service will earn eternal life with ELOHAR and restoration as true Asterians. Church members developed this promise themselves.
The claimed authority
Its original scribes claimed divine instruction. Their writings became unquestionable doctrine, even though ELOHAR has not communicated with the Church.
From guardianship to rule
The Church transformed the original task of watching over humanity into an asserted right to rule humans. Some members enforce that belief with violence and cruelty.
Church-made laws forbid unions with outside humans and condemn forbidden offspring. Leaving the Church or breaking its bloodline rules is punishable by death. The House of Shadow Disciples exists within this system of enforcement, with Sleepers also involved.

No answer. An enduring belief.
The Church believes ELOHAR’s silence is a consequence of the banishment. Members expect communication to resume after redemption, while accepting the founding scribes’ claim that the doctrine itself was divinely instructed.
Whether those scribes knowingly fabricated that claim or sincerely believed it remains unresolved. ELOHAR’s own intentions toward the Church—and response to what it does in that name—have not been established.
