NEXTWORLD ARCHIVE PRESENTS

THE NEXTWORLD DISPATCH

BEYOND THE PAGE. INTO THE NEXTWORLD.

ISSUE NO. 001 · OCTOBER 15, 2026

The Stories Are Just Beginning

Writing updates. Character spotlights. Audiobooks. Strange discoveries. And a certain masked jester.

FROM THE WRITER’S DESK

Welcome to the NextWorld Dispatch!

Hello, and welcome to the very first edition of The NextWorld Dispatch!

First things first: this is not going to be your ordinary, run-of-the-mill newsletter.

Where’s the fun in that?

Here at the NextWorld Archive, we intend to do things a little differently. The Dispatch will bring you news of upcoming publications, current writing progress, new articles written exclusively for the Archive, and a behind-the-scenes look at the stories and characters inhabiting my fictional worlds.

One issue might introduce you to a character you’ve never met. Another might feature an interview with someone who exists entirely within the pages of a NextWorld story. We might share audio from The NextWorld Podcast, a sample from an audiobook, or a glimpse into a manuscript still taking shape inside the Writer’s Cave.

And speaking of the Writer’s Cave, there’s a certain masked gentleman who may make an appearance from time to time.

The Mask Scribbler.

Our resident jester, occasional commentator, and self-appointed authority on just about everything. He has a habit of appearing when nobody invites him.

Ha!

Rumor has it that he may even be getting his own comic strip, exclusively through NextWorld Comics.

We have some rather unorthodox plans for this Archive.

Our goal is to build a place where fiction, imagination, entertainment, and information coexist. A place where the stories don’t necessarily end when you turn the final page.

You’ll find science fiction, supernatural tales, action and adventure, investigations into the unusual, and the occasional observation about the strange world we inhabit.

And here’s my promise to you, faithful reader:

We will always strive to make the NextWorld entertaining, informative, and worth returning to.

So here’s to great reads, unexpected discoveries, and a few surprises that will hopefully leave you wanting more.

Issue No. 001 is only the beginning. We intend to move the needle and perhaps demonstrate what a newsletter can become when a pulp-fiction storyteller gets his hands on it.

Ha!

(Heavy sigh.)

INSIDE THE WRITER’S CAVE

The Superhuman Race #4: Bloodlines

Manuscript Progress: 90%

The fourth installment of The Superhuman Race is alive and well inside the Writer’s Cave.

But there’s a difference between reaching the end of a manuscript and discovering the full potential of a story.

Right now, Bloodlines is undergoing precisely that examination.

E.J. Perez is dissecting the storyline, studying its characters, questioning their motivations, and pushing the narrative toward its strongest possible form.

The goal isn’t simply to finish another book. It’s to make certain the story earns its place within the expanding Superhuman Race saga.

For readers who have followed the adventures through the first three books, Bloodlines promises to carry the ongoing narrative further into the world where extraordinary abilities collide with very human choices.

Current status: Writing and story development continue. No publication date has been announced.

Stay tuned. The story isn’t finished with its characters yet.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT

Jade Boaz

The Superhuman Race | Books 1–3

Some characters enter a story knowing exactly who they are.

Others must discover their identity while the world around them changes.

Jade Boaz belongs to the latter group.

Across the first three books of The Superhuman Race, Jade’s journey is intertwined with a world in which extraordinary abilities challenge familiar ideas about humanity, identity, and destiny.

Her story is not simply about power. It’s about the consequences of possessing it, the relationships that shape her, and the difficult questions that emerge when ordinary life gives way to extraordinary circumstances.

Jade is one of the central figures in a much larger saga, but her personal journey remains an important part of the series’ emotional foundation.

For readers meeting Jade for the first time, her story begins in The Superhuman Race #1.

For those already familiar with her adventures, there is still much more to discover.

A note from the Archive: This spotlight intentionally avoids revealing developments beyond the first three published books.

Future Dispatch editions may explore other characters, their histories, and their roles in the expanding Superhuman Race universe.

NEXTWORLD AUDIO

The Superhuman Race Has Found Its Voice

The world of The Superhuman Race is expanding beyond the printed page.

The Superhuman Race #1 has entered the audiobook world through Spotify, introducing another way for audiences to experience the series.

But selecting the right voice for an entire fictional universe is no small decision.

Enter Nathaniel.

After an audition and selection process involving several potential voices, Nathaniel emerged as the preferred narrator for the series.

And the decision wasn’t made lightly. Even the Perez family weighed in before the final selection.

Now Nathaniel is preparing for the demanding assignment of becoming the recognizable voice of The Superhuman Race.

Of course, Nathaniel is an AI narration voice, so his rigorous training takes place in the digital recording studio rather than a traditional acting classroom.

His mission? Deliver a consistent listening experience as the series grows, with narration that supports the personalities, tension, and atmosphere of the stories.

The next production on the horizon is The Superhuman Race #2 audiobook.

We’ll share further updates as that production moves forward.

The NextWorld is finding its voice, one story at a time.

FEATURED FROM INSIDE THE WRITER’S CAVE

The Explosive Spirit of 1970s Men’s Action Fiction

What happens when the relentless energy of classic men’s adventure fiction meets a modern science-fiction universe?

That’s the question explored in our featured article:

Why The Superhuman Race Inherits the Explosive Spirit of 70’s Men’s Action Fiction

For E.J. Perez, pulp fiction isn’t simply a label or a nostalgic reference to paperback racks of another era.

It’s a storytelling tradition built around momentum, danger, extraordinary situations, memorable characters, and the irresistible desire to discover what happens next.

The article examines the creative spirit behind The Superhuman Race and its relationship to that action-adventure tradition.

If you’ve ever wondered what drives the storytelling philosophy behind the series, this is an excellent place to begin.

BEYOND FICTION

The NextWorld Report

The NextWorld Archive isn’t limited to fictional universes.

Through The NextWorld Report, we examine intriguing questions about science, technology, space, ancient history, unexplained phenomena, and the mysteries that continue to challenge our understanding of the world.

From emerging technology and artificial intelligence to ancient civilizations and reports of unidentified aerial phenomena, the Report explores subjects where established knowledge, unanswered questions, and speculation sometimes intersect.

Our approach is simple: investigate the claims, examine the available evidence, and make room for curiosity without confusing speculation with verified fact.

The world is strange enough without inventing the evidence.

THE NEXTWORLD MELTDOWN

When the Real World Writes Its Own Pulp Fiction

War. Politics. Economic uncertainty. Climate pressures. Global tensions.

Sometimes the real world produces storylines that would make even a pulp-fiction writer shake his head.

Welcome to The NextWorld Meltdown.

Born as a segment of The NextWorld Podcast, the Meltdown takes a look at the events creating turbulence across our planet.

It is where serious developments, unsettling questions, and occasional dark humor share the stage.

Because when the world starts behaving like an overworked disaster novelist, somebody ought to take notes.

Explore: The NextWorld Meltdown, part of the NextWorld Archive.

COMING TO NEXTWORLD COMICS

The Mask Scribbler Is Escaping the Writer’s Cave!

Apparently, being a masked commentator isn’t enough.

Now The Mask Scribbler has ambitions of becoming a comic-strip star.

A new comic-strip feature is being planned for NextWorld Comics, starring our resident masked jester and his distinctly unconventional observations.

Expect commentary, satire, creative frustrations, and whatever else happens to pass through that fully concealed, masked head of his.

No official launch date has been announced.

But considering his tendency to appear uninvited, we wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up sooner than expected.

Coming attraction: The Mask Scribbler, exclusively at the NextWorld Archive.

THE LAST WORD

Until the Next Dispatch…

The NextWorld Archive is still growing.

New stories are being written. Existing worlds are expanding. Audiobooks are finding their voices. Characters are waiting for their next adventures.

And somewhere in the Writer’s Cave, a certain masked fellow is probably preparing another unsolicited opinion.

Thank you for joining us for this inaugural edition of The NextWorld Dispatch.

We’ll return in two weeks with more writing news, another look inside the Archive, and perhaps a surprise or two.

Until then, keep reading, keep imagining, and remember:

The truth is always stranger than fiction… and fiction is just as real as the truth.
